Manta rays are fascinating creatures that are highly intelligent but sadly also highly threatened. They are the largest ray species that belong to the Mobula genus. Manta rays are filter feeders and use quite a creative technique when feeding, often doing repeated somersaults to stay in a single spot that is packed with krill.
