About Me

My early childhood was spent in Brisbane with visits to the Queensland art gallery. A move to the coastal town of Port Macquarie saw me develop a love of the ocean and the art gallery visits were replaced with watching David Attenborough documentaries. These early influences created a love of art with a strong pull to the science section of the library.

Amazingly, I found a degree, which combined both these passions and in 2018 I graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Natural History Illustration. It was here that I learnt the fundamentals of scientific drawing, observation and research that unearthed a fascination with medical and marine illustration.

I am constantly exploring how the world works through expressing it visually. I predominantly work in acrylic, watercolour, ink pen and pencils. Recently, I have been focusing on experimenting with a more painterly art style where my love for the ocean shines through.

I am now working as a Disability Support worker and I find the job extremely rewarding. I am currently establishing an art program to assist people with disabilities to develop their art skills.
